I almost forgot

I haven't posted many recent pictures of Evie, so here you go!

Playing with cousin Addy on the piano

Inside a box of shredded papers. Could life get any better?!

Yep, I guess it could.

So fun!

Annoyed that her mom is taking a picture of her while she is trying to watch Elmo!

Still chillin' in the swing and lovin' it!

She was so excited to put on this hat and glove set!

And that's all for today! Wow, all of this posting seriously took me Evie's entire nap time of over 3 hours! Definitely a better idea to post more often for a shorter amount of time! Gotta go get my cutie pie!

Thanks to Ashley

Thanks to Ashley's comment on my blog yesterday, I was highly motivated to update. So these four posts are for you Ash! I was so wrong when I wrote back in October that it wouldn't be too long before I posted again. Can I blame this on pregnancy :)? I think it's funny when pregnancy becomes the culprit for everything that goes wrong in a woman's life.

But my pregnancy has actually been great! I've been right on target for my weight gain, I never got sick, and my fatigue wasn't nearly as bad as it was with Evie. Lately I've only had to worry about waking up in the middle of the night because my bladder is being smashed, heartburn, and backaches. Hopefully all of my pregnancies will be this good, but I have a strange feeling I will continue to get more and more tired with each child. No matter who you are, pregnancy does a number on your body and on your emotions.

Up until today, I have taken any pictures of my belly! Pathetic, I know. But it will be fun to see how much I grow in the next few weeks! Here I am today at 34w 2d.

An up-close of the belly

Please don't mind the "I just got out of the shower" look that I'm sporting
Most of all I ever hear is people telling me how I'm too small. Rest assured, I feel huge and the baby is growing right on! On Monday the doctor even told me that I was measuring small. I was a little worried at first, but he ordered an ultrasound and by his measurements, baby boy was even a few more days ahead than he is supposed to be!
I even got to watch him open and close his eyes! It made me so excited for him to come. Seeing his little face makes this all worth it.

I know this picture isn't great, but can you sort of see his face?
We still haven't picked out a name, but we're narrowing it down so that we'll have some to choose from when he's born. Can't wait!

Christmas Time!

Christmas time is always so much fun. And with all of the cold and darkness in December, it is only appropriate that we are warmed by the love and thoughts of our Savior. He truly lights up the world and the long nights don't seem so dark. We set up all of our decorations at the beginning of December and it was fun for Evie to see the Christmas tree and ooooo at the lights.

So proud!

Evie loved hearing Silent Night on this nativity music box and seeing 'baby Ishy.'
During December Wes was very busy with school. Evie decided she would go for him one day.

Christmas Day was so much fun! We first went to Wes' dad's house for breakfast and presents, then we went to my family's house. It was so great to spend a lot of time with both families. We're so lucky they are only a half a block apart.

Here is our tree and presents at our house before we went to visit family.

So excited for Christmas!
We had to wake up Evie for the big event

Cute little Santa jammies!

At Wes' house Christmas morning. I'm actually in a picture!

Evie finding Elmo at Grandma and Grandpa Sperry's

She seriously would not stop hugging him for around 5 minutes!
Playing with Elmo and her new Firetruck back at home

Evie also got a tent for Christmas and has had so much fun with it! It currently stores her toys which make for an easier pick up for mommy and daddy.

These pictures are priceless. I love her so much!!!

A few days after Christmas, Wes' brother Trent got married to Amy Burton! I've know Amy for quite a few years, so I was so happy to see them get together. She is a great girl and I'm so happy to have her for a sister in law! Wes' siblings have all married such great people. I feel so lucky to be a part of their family. Again, I wish I had pictures....

New Year's was a lot of fun too! My mom and brother Danny were nice enough to watch Evie so that Wes and I could go out. We don't have any pictures of the inside, but we went up to Tucano's in Salt Lake for a great celebration and awesome food! We stuffed ourselves with all sorts of meats and good food. We were both sort of tired though, so we left before midnight! I think we kissed at the point of the mountain while driving to ring in the new year! It was so nice to be able to spend some time alone with Wes, although we always do miss Evie.

Going to the restaurant

After the party

We brought these balloons home for Evie, she loves balloons!
We had such a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

Our lives in November

November was a great month! On November 3rd we were able to find out the gender(and general health) of our baby! I had little hope for a different gender since there are 8 grand daughters and 1 grandson in my family. I would have loved another little girl, but was thrilled to find out that it was a boy! It will be fun to have one of each. The ultrasound was an early birthday present for me! I rarely have pictures of myself, so here are a couple of Evie waiting at the doctor's office.

Is it our turn yet?

Evie loves playing with her friends! While my friend Niki was working, I would watch her darling daughter Millie every once in a while- Evie enjoyed having her over and would sometimes give her hugs and kisses.

Isn't she a doll?

I also watch our friend's son Carter every Thursday. Evie is ecstatic every time he comes over. He's a little older, so she thinks he's pretty cool.

They both like to eat a lot :).
And then there's Evie best little friend, Ava. Evie has been talking about her as long as she could talk and always gets excited to see her. The Moores live below us on the other side and are great friends!

They were having so much fun on this chair. It fits the two of them perfectly!
Speaking of eating...she downed these chicken nuggets. Sadly, she doesn't just eat anything anymore.

I know, no pants again...maybe the camera screams to be used whenever her pants are off :).

Can I fit one more in my cheeks??
As I mentioned, I had a birthday on November 6th. I just can't believe I'm 28! Ahh! Well, I have two more years till I'm officially way old :). The sad thing is that I do not have pictures! Of course, I can't take good pictures of myself. But it was a great birthday. We went to Trafalga for mini golf and then had a party at my parents' house. I made fettuccine alfredo and I got a lot of awesome presents from my kind family. My mom got me an Oreo ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins and Ashley and Alan were even down from Logan and joined us for the festivities!

Wes' sister Jennica also made me a delicious pumpkin dessert the next day for the Ostler dinner get together at the Matthew's house. Everyone was so nice and I had a special couple days!

Also, in November I sadly let go of Evie's cute little pink and brown stroller and car seat. I believe it is currently in Mexico.

We needed something not-girly, and a double stroller. I found this great double stroller on ksl.com at an awesome price. I also bought a car seat that was in excellent condition. We only had to spend $10 more for the double stroller and car seat than what we sold Evie's travel system for. It was a great little trade and I'm excited to go on a lot of walks!

For Thanksgiving, we had a dinner with Wes' family at Grandma and Grandpa Ostler's house the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. It was a lot of fun to get together to eat with everyone and the food was great!
The next day we headed up to Idaho to have Thanksgiving at my sister Allison's house. It took forever to get there because of the snow, but we had a lot of fun- and we were able to get great Black Friday deals. I keep realizing that I need to take more pictures! I know Erin took a bunch of pictures on Thanksgiving (I got mad at her for taking 'natural shots' of me, those never look good!). So I'll have to get some pics from her.

On Black Friday we bought 5 Wii's from Walmart and one from Amazon that were a great deal. I know, kind of crazy. But we were able to make enough money from selling these to get ourselves a nice new red Wii for Christmas! We've only used it a couple times so far, but it is a fun thing to have for get togethers.

Evie is Funny

Evie has really changed so much in the last few months! But she is still as silly as ever. She just won't give up a pacifier....or mommy and daddy won't :). And she will take any pacifier she can get! These pictures were taken back in October.

She is also obsessed as ever with ELMO(although these pictures are of Abby)! I don't know' how many times a day she asks for him- at least 20. When I tell her Elmo is not on right now, she says, "Sesame Street." But it sounds more like "sess steet." A lot of times we end up watching him on the iPad and that satisfies her Elmo hunger.

She still likes her swing....

and is just so cute when she points at the camera.

She splashes a lot in the bath and still looks like a doll in her little towel!

Every time she sees the sink she says "up, sink, and teeth." Evie loves brushing her teeth. At least she loves running her toothbrush under the water and then sucking the water out. I know, it sounds funny, but it's so cute how much she loves it!

For Halloween, Evie dressed up like Minnie. I had two outfits for her, but I only got pictures of her in her fleece one. I'll have to add pictures after I get them from family. Kenny and Erin had their 30th birthday party on October 30th (golden birthdays!) and we had a big Halloween/80's Party!! I'm just sad I don't have pictures! So maybe I can count on Allison and Erin for some. It was a fantastic party that my darling sister in law Laura threw for the twinners.

The things kids come up with. I guess she really thought she needed three nipples on her bottle!

I promise she normally has pants on!
And I just liked this picture. She was happy because Grandpa Ostler brought her that candy necklace in her hand.
